E-referendum

Electronic referendum is used for direct e-participation of citizens in the decision-making process (direct democracy). The main goal of this tool is to offer citizens a possibility for mass-expression of their opinion about a question of public interest or public solution that should be carried out by public authority. Referendums can be consultative so the main authority is under no pressure to put the results into final solutions (or vice-versa - results can also be compulsory).

Government e-meetings

E-Meeting of government or one of it's bodies means that all materials of the meeting are posted and available over the internet. All adjustments of documents, discussions about papers and decisions that are made are made available on the internet. Communication between involved subjects is also possible electronically over the internet so they can publish their remarks and observations about documents or change the agenda that has been set. This can be the basis for the final decision making. Mostly the materials are already publicly available while they're being handled by the government.
